- When your photocopier or MFP run in to frequent paper jams it’s important to take look at the display panel for important notifications like where the paper jam occurred, or it may even contain instructions on how to open the photocopier and clear the paper jam.
- Before opening your photocopy machine to clear the paper jam, it’s important to make sure to turn its power off or you may be placing your hand on an electrical circute bords or any moving parts, and by truning its power off, you secured of not getting injured by the photocopier.
- After opening the xerox machine cover and before placing your hands inside the copier, you should give it a few minutes to let copy machine cool. Once the machine is cool enough to put your hands inside, find the jammed paper and remove it by pulling it, gently without damaging any moving parts.
